FAQ’s

What is Be Well?

Be Well is a healthcare provider and online pharmacy for everyone. Our mission is to make healthcare accessible for everyone at any time.

Our online doctors and pharmacists are on hand to provide you with advice and suggestions to help you find the best treatment for you.

Who is Be Well for?

Be Well is for anyone over the age of 18. Whether you want to make purchasing your regular medication easier, or you’re looking for expert advice on a specific health issue, we can help.

Which pharmacy do we use?

We have our own pharmacy based in the UK called BJ Pharma. It’s supervised by Superintendent Pharmacist Mr Jarnail Kang GPHC Registration: 2037480 and registered with the GPHC, which you can verify here.

How do I get help and treatment?

The first step will be to register with us, this is a quick and simple form, where we will ask for your name, age, and email. Once you are registered with us, you can log in and begin your consultation. This will include some basic health questions, so that we can get a better understanding of your health issues.

How does the consultation form work?

The consultation can be completed online in your own time, so you don’t have to book an appointment or a phone call. Once the form has been completed, we will then provide you with healthcare advice, a free prescription, and treatment options that you can choose from. We may contact you if we need more information regarding your consultation form.

How long does the consultation take to complete?

The consultation form should take a few minutes to complete, but it may take a little longer if we need more information about something.

Once you have completed the consultation form, you will be able to select a treatment option. Once you have selected the treatment, you will then be able to proceed to the payment and shipping pages.

Can I use an existing prescription?

We do not currently accept existing NHS or private prescriptions. We offer a free consultation service which is reviewed by one of our clinicians who will issue a prescription. There is no additional cost for this process.

Will my GP be informed of my treatment?

When you place an order, there will be an option to enter your GP details. This is optional, and we will not inform your GP without your consent. However, please note that certain medications will require mandatory GP details before we can complete your order.

What is off-label prescribing?

Off-label prescribing is when a medicine is used to treat something different outside of its intended use. Healthcare professionals may prescribe an off-label or unlicensed medicine, if they deem it safe to do so and if there is enough information or evidence to suggest that it is a suitable treatment option for the patient. The patient must be informed about the medication, so that they can decide whether or not to have the treatment.

What are generic drugs?

Generic drugs are medications which are the same as a branded drug in dosage, safety, strength, route of administration, quality, and intended use. Generic drugs should meet the same standard and quality as its branded alternative. An example of a generic drug is Sildenafil, which is the same as its branded alternative Viagra.

What if it’s an emergency?

Please call 999 in a medical emergency (if someone is seriously ill, injured, or their life is at risk). You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice, but it’s not a life-threatening situation.

What payments do you take?

You can pay by credit or debit card. We also accept Apple or Google Pay. We’ll ask for your payment details each time you purchase a treatment.

Can I pay with cash?

No, we don’t accept cash payments or ‘cash on delivery’. The payment methods we accept are credit or debit card and Apple or Google Pay.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we can’t give refunds for returned prescribed medication because it’s against the law.

Due to the nature of the products, we are unable to accept returns or refunds once they have left the pharmacy. The pharmacy is unable to use any returned medicines, so if you have unwanted medicine, we advise you to take it to a local pharmacy for safe disposal.

However, please contact us if you haven’t received your medication, or there are any other issues.
